Costumes For Gaming Conventions

If there is one thing us gamers like, it is when an event or convention comes up in our area that is dedicated to our favourite video game. This, for me, is the highlight of my year. A personal favourite of mine are the World of Warcraft conventions. Not just because I have the chance to meet so many of my clan members, but also because I get to chat WoW for a couple of days solid and most importantly, because I get to dress up!
For this years conventions I have invested in a World of Warcraft Mask. I was going to go for the entire costume but thought that might be a bit much - especially as this is the first time I have ever been to a convention in fancy dress. You can find some great costumes online that are dedicated to all games, not just World of Warcraft. I think the whole dress up thing at these events and conventions makes the whole thing seem a little more special. You also feel as if you’re part of something.

Do Not Forget About Classic Games

It is all too easy these days to forget about the classic games that we enjoyed in our youth. The games available these days are of such a high quality from both a visibility / graphics perspective to the actual game play that it is often extremely easy to forget about the great fun games that we enjoyed playing all them years ago before the invention of the XBOX and Playstation.
From time to time, there is nothing I enjoy more than seeking out some of the old classic game titles that I used to play 10+ years ago and giving them another crack. Pretty much all of the online arcades out there on the Internet offer free games, often a nice blend of new games and classics that you can play right there and then in your browser. As the older, classic games were not really that detailed, you can load a game up with todays technology in a matter of seconds.
The only issue is, after you play some of the games from a few years back, you realise how terrible the technology was just a decade ago and you’re only too glad to jump back on the Playstation!

How the Online Gaming affects a Family

Online gaming with its pronounced popularity on teenagers attracts some issues regarding on how it affects a family’s relationship.
As we all know that online gaming is such an addictive sort of game, people who are addicted to it therefore spend more time playing than doing some other stuffs they are supposed to be doing.
For teenagers who are addicted to this kind of gaming, little do they know that bit by bit their relationship with their family is somehow getting affected. Due to the fact that they spend almost their entire day playing these online games, the time which is supposed to be spend with their family is slowly eaten by the online gaming. They are not present in meal times anymore. They are busy playing while other family members are in the recreation room watching television. More or less they see each other less and less and they talk with each other less and less too. In short, they don’t keep in touch with one another no more. This situation can get worse in time. It may create a gap between them and their family. It may create misunderstandings between the family members as well and from little misunderstandings it may result to some sort of arguing and eventually will end up in a fight.
For a husband who is addicted in online gaming, the tendency would possibly be that instead of spending time at home with his wife and kid, he is instead in front of the computer playing all day long. He will soon neglect some of his duties and this can lead to some misunderstandings between him and his wife. This can start a fight.
There was even once reported that a couple forgot to feed their infants because both of them were stuck in playing these addictive computer games.
Imagine how these online gaming is so addictive that it can make a person forget his or her responsibilities and how it can be a threat to a family’s relationship?
Our relationship with our family is as important as breathing. When everyone else turns their back on you, it’s just your family who will stick with you. If you’ll allow yourself to be part of this online gaming addiction, you can end up hurting your love ones feelings just because you spend more time in front of a computer playing these online games than spending time with them.
Playing these online games is not bad as long as you keep your priorities right but being addicted to it is a different story already.

Ascaron Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis Game Review

Sherlock Holmes’ latest mystery game is released. It is the fourth version of the Sherlock Holmes Mystery. ‘The Nemesis’ is a combination of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Holmes and Watson in the dark world of H.P. Lovecraft. The opening of the game starts with the player receiving a letter from the infamous cat burglar, Arsene Lupin. Lupin was also known as the anti-hero in the 19th century. In the letter, Lupin challenges Holmes to stop him from carrying off five icons of British Artifacts as revenge to British for the indignities of the French Republic.
To win this game, you will need to solve the riddles and earn points to get to the next robbery. Along the journey, you will find yourself playing in a mix of different locations such as the Tower of London, National Gallery and British Museum. This game is a first-person game. It will take some time for you to get used to this game at first. You either play as Holmes, Watson or Inspector Lestrade. To solve the game, you will need to revisit some of the locations a few times but if you are good at solving puzzles, translating codes and opening boxes and locks, you are ready to conquer the game.

Let us face it, sports are popular, sports have always been popular and most likely sports will always be popular. The exact same is true for video games, have been and probably always will be one of the most popular past times for adults and children of all ages. One of the most popular sports today is racing, NASCAR, Indy and everything in between. When the three come together, fun is sure to be had by all. Although there are many other sports games available for playing online, none is as exciting as online racing games.
Games that include racing have been around for quite some time, but a lot has changed over time. Advances in technology since the early eighties have brought to the table more realistic graphics as well as better game play. There are games that require you to unlock levels. There are games that let you design and build your own racing vehicle. There are games that not only do you have to win the race, but also along the way, you have to fight off the evil villains who are trying to keep you from crossing the finish line victoriously. No matter how much these games have changed, the point is still to beat the clock, make it to the finish line and win the race.
